Every life counts. Every death echoes.
Five lifelong friends travel across the world to the most remote inhabited island on the planet: Tristan da Cunha. Hoping to enjoy six weeks of a secluded paradise while volunteering, they soon discover dark secrets both on and off the island.
Tristan da Cunha has a population of only 250 people spread across its 11 kilometers in diameter. Cut off from the mainland by 2,400 kilometers of treacherous South Atlantic waters, it's a place where everyone knows everyone—and strangers are rarely welcomed.
The tourists arrived intending to assist the islanders recover and rebuild after a devastating natural disaster, but soon find themselves in a disaster of their own. When one of the friends mysteriously disappears, they realize another disaster was in store—one that might have been waiting for them all along.
As a storm approaches that will cut off all communication with the outside world, the friends must find a way off the island before the next ship is scheduled to arrive... six weeks later.
