This book describes that there are several relatively unknown substances that have success rates of about 50% in treating the cravings of addictions. These include several psychedelic medications, one legal dietary substance related to the psychedelics called voacangine, and the anti-diabetic drugs Ozempic, Wegovy and Trulicity. Conventional medications and techniques have a success rate of about 10%. in treating addictions and are mostly so expensive and time consuming as to be unavailable to most addicts. This book describes how addicts can treat themselves alone or with the assistance of family and friends, and with less costly substances.

The craving for alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine, opiate and nicotine can be suppressed gradually by taking daily the inexpensive dietary supplement voacangine which is available on the internet. The addicting substance is decreased as the craving decreases. As there is no abrupt stopping of the addicting substance there is no withdrawal experience. If one is severely addicted to opiates, this will be a long drawn-out process. Severe alcohol withdrawal should be managed in a medical setting.

Persons on chronic opiate use for chronic severe pain and experiencing breakthrough pain can reduce their breakthrough pain by using small amounts of voacangine regularly as it reduces tolerance to opiates. While voacangine has no pain relieving properties itself, it has the effect of making the opiate more effective. It should be understood that of the addicting substances, only opiates produce significant tolerance with prolonged use and so can be made more effective in this manner.

The psychedelics that reduce craving for addicting drugs are illegal nationally making them difficult to obtain. Some are legal in Colorado. Psilocybin mushrooms are not difficult to grow and use and can be used legally for this purpose in Colorado. The anti-diabetic drugs are already being used off-label for craving suppression of alcohol and tobacco, but are very expensive. Voacangine is legal nationally, inexpensive, safe, available on the internet in mg specific amounts and easy to use. It is effective for alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine, nicotine and opiate craving suppression.
