History of French Paneling is a chronological series of interior design vignettes showing the history of French Paneling from 1527 to 1889. The prototype is the meeting rooms of the Masonic Meeting Hall in Manhattan at 23rd Street and the Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue) which has thirteen meeting rooms each in a different historical style but all having the same functional layout and height, width and depth dimensions. All the vignettes presented here have an eight foot ceiling height and each vignette presents a window wall, a door wall, a fireplace wall and a bed wall. All the moldings are standard molding profiles.
