⭐⭐⭐ Redemption of Mark: Dive into the Darkness of Night and the Quest for Light ⭐⭐⭐

The book is about the different meanings of day and night, with the former being harsh and cruel and the latter being soft and soothing. The author reflects on the darkness of the night and how it can provide a sense of anonymity and isolation from the outside world. They discuss the dangers of drugs and how smack is a great drug, but the amount and material used in cutting it can be unpredictable.
They also discuss the existence of "night people" who retreat into a cave in a warehouse to avoid the harsh light of day. The owner of the warehouse had plans to renovate the area for housing but was unable to get the council's acceptance, so it was closed down and removed.
However, the author found mezzanine access through the loading hatch of the cellar and was able to sneak into and out of the area. The next morning, they found their partner dead and stone cold, and they were unable to go back for a while. The darkness of night is a good time to retreat into, and some people engage in sexual activity in clubs as a form of escapism.
