Inhaltsangabe

Twelve missions that never made it into the novels.

A resort hotel gutted by a war with sentient drones. The Galaxy pinned a hundred meters above molten lava while a planet rearranges itself underneath. A sealed gray cube pulled out of an asteroid belt that nobody should have opened.

Some of these are jobs gone wrong. Some are Steve shooting at cargo containers for target practice until something expensive happens. One of them is Goober spending three days working up the nerve to tell someone that there is something wrong with Hitch.

Twelve stories from the Starcruiser Galaxy, including two that run in two parts, each short enough to finish in a sitting and none of them requiring you to have read anything else first.

If you have never flown with this crew, this is a good place to start. If you have, these are the runs between the books.

Contents: Drone Wars, Hot Lava, Double-Rowed Smile, Drone Wars II, Arms Deal, Stimugen, Discount Dinner, Distant Discovery, Damage Control, Distant Discovery II, Derelict Disaster, Deceptive Cargo.

Volume One of the Galaxy Chronicles. About 31,000 words.
