Nor Surilawana Sulaiman is a Lecturer of Halal Management at the Faculty of Halal Science and Sustainable Tourism, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Brunei Darussalam. She is also appointed as Head of Undergraduate Programme and At-Tammayuz, UNISSA. She received the Dato' Dr. Abdul Halim Special Award for academic excellence in the 13th Convocation Ceremony of USIM in 2015. She also went to the Halal Product Research Institute (HPRI), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia, in 2019 for the Student Mobility Programme. Her research revolves around halal, halal certification, halal management, and the halal industry. Apart from research, she also has won several medals in innovation competitions nationally and internationally. In addition, she is also active in community service activities to enhance awareness regarding halalan thayyiban and food safety for the general public and young children and youth.

Mohamed Syazwan Ab Talib research and teaching focus primarily on logistics and supply chain management with the inclusion of halal principles and Islamic distribution. His research also encompasses the halal management standard that centred on the association between halal standard implementation and business performance. Syazwan welcomes industry consultation, research collaboration, and academic coaching opportunities for industry professionals and fellow academics.
