Darcia Roache is a distinguished consultant, academic, educator, and organizational leader with over 25 years of combined experience in business administration, education, and public service. Originally from the island of Jamaica, she has held key roles in both the private and public sectors, serving as, director on financial board, director of administration, and acted as chief executive officer. Her work is defined by a deep commitment to excellence in leadership, administration, and education. Dr. Roache has made notable contributions to the academic and professional training landscape across Jamaica, Canada, and the United States of America. She has served as a research supervisor, second examiner, course coordinator, adjunct professor, faculty, and instructor for prominent institutions in Jamaica, Canada, and United States of America. Internationally, she has also served as a member of the Finance and Operations Committee of the British Educational Research Association (BERA) based in London, United Kingdom. Her academic credentials reflect her passion for administrative excellence, scholarship, and lifelong learning. Dr. Roache holds a PhD in Educational Administration, a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration, and an Associate of Science (ASc) in Business Administration. An accomplished editor and scholar, Dr. Roache has completed two authored books with Emerald and Palgrave Macmillian, has edited six books, namely: 1. Advancing Safety, Service, and Performance in Organizations With Impactful Leadership She has also authored and co-authored numerous scholarly articles, book chapters, and book reviewed on topics, such as educational leadership, ethical values and organizational optimization, performance appraisal and raters’ errors; microaggressions, motivation, transformational leadership; positive leadership approaches; promoting wellbeing in higher education; mid-career transformational leadership; educational leaders' success, motivation, and performance in higher educational institutions; stumbling in the dark: A review of research methods of distributed leadership; Leadership and crisis management for businesses globally; autonomy and empowerment for middle managers; transformative educational leadership; and leadership for equity and social justice in the 21st century. Currently serving as a lecturer in postsecondary education, Dr. Roache continues to mentor, teach, and lead with purpose. Her unwavering commitment to developing people and systems underscores her impactful contributions to education, leadership, and organizational development.
