Inhaltsangabe

Quality assurance in higher education is a rapidly evolving field that defines how institutions measure, manage, and improve excellence across global contexts. It integrates diverse international models and examines the interplay between policy, governance, autonomy, and accountability in shaping educational quality. Central to this are established frameworks, benchmarking practices, and evaluation tools. Increasingly, it is being reshaped by data-driven decision-making, AI, and learning analytics. At the same time, it addresses critical challenges of equity, inclusion, and access in modern higher education systems. Harnessing Digital Platforms for Quality Assurance and Monitoring in Higher Education bridges research, policy, and practice through a comparative international perspective and new conceptual frameworks. This book serves as a key reference for advancing scholarship, stimulating further research, and offering fresh perspectives on the role of AI in quality assurance. Covering topics such as continuous quality improvement, refugee higher education, and digital assurance ecosystems, this book is an excellent academic resource for graduate and doctoral students, university leaders, institutional effectiveness professionals, policymakers, and more.
