Writing has been a hobby of mine since I was a teenager. I was fifteen years old when The Beatles had a hit with PAPERBACK WRITER, from that time on I dreamed of being a paperback writer. Thanks to Amazon I am now a prolific paperback writer.
In early 2017 I put out a survey on social media asking what was peoples’ favourite reading genre. Overwhelmingly the response came back CRIME FICTION. I had never tried that but thought I would give it a go. This work is now my twenty-fourth whodunit on my Amazon Bookshelf.
Over the years I have developed a unique style where my characters and their investigations are rather eccentric.
In the first half of 2024 I suffered from a writer’s block and just could not make any of my ideas work. Seeking a solution I set aside the police, private detectives and lawbreakers to hand storylines over to a solicitor, James Rowley. I had so much fun writing ALWAYS ON CALL I ended up giving James Rowley a trilogy of cases to represent in court.
Each case was deliberately written at a length which could enable it to be read in a single sitting. I am now bringing everything together in THE SCALES OF JUSTICE.
