Views from the Journeys of a Marathon Monk is a collection of 52 original oil color paintings inspired by views from my Marathon Monk pilgrimages around the world. Accompanying the paintings is a story that follows my meditative inspirations behind them in swift expression. Painted following the paths of the Pure Land and Lotus Sutras, the selection of views is intended to provide glimpses into the land of the Bodhisattvas for personal contemplation.

My name is Nicholas A Fischer and I am a Geographic Historian and Exhibition Specialist who has been creating art under the name Pescador Khan since 2018. Views from the Journeys of a Marathon Monk is the first edition book in a three-volume set to be self-published in 2024.
