Nicholas Grabowsky's novels of horror/fantasy, both as himself, as Nicholas Randers, and as Marsena Shane, have generated international acclaim and praised by many of today's most popular horror gurus in the literary world. He began his career in traditional publishing houses with brisk sellers in mass market paperback horror in the late 1980's and publishes to this day.His body of work includes the award-winning macabre epic The Everborn, Red Wet Dirt, The Rag Man, Pray Serpent's Prey, Halloween IV (and its special editions), Diverse Tales, Reads & Reviews and The Wicked Haze, Red Afterworld, Sweet Dreams Lady Moon, numerous anthologies and magazine articles, with projects extending to screenplays, poetry, songs, film, and a wide variety of short fiction and nonfiction.He's a veteran special guest at numerous genre conventions and makes appearances and signings across the United States and abroad. He has been in the limelight as a radical gospel preacher right out of high school and in the following years a rock vocalist, teacher, lecturer and activist, editor, publisher and founder of the Sacramento-area-based independent horror press Black Bed Sheet Books, Black Hamster TV (which broadcasts independent film), and sponsor of various podcasts and radio shows (notably Blogtalk Radio's "Francy & Friends" for over seven years).Currently, Nicholas is at work with numerous anthologies, graphic novels and comic books, an Everborn sequel and the novels The Downwardens and The Sirens of Knowland. His independent film projects include the upcoming slasher creature feature Cutting Edges, about a monster made of shaving cream who invokes a killing spree involving razor blades.Grabowsky now resides with his family at Black Bed Sheet Studios, his home and base of operations in Sacramento, CA, where he works full time bringing horror fiction to the world and encourages those in town to stop by the studios for a free catalog.
Award-Winning Director Reyna Young resides in San Francisco, California with her husband, musician John Gillette and son Logan. Together they both run Last Doorway Productions, an independent film company. She is also known as TV Horror Hostess Miss Misery of Miss Misery's Movie Massacre, author of the books Halloween Night Series and her Monsters book series which includes The Creature of Stowe Cabin, Mr. Torture and Horror Lullabies published by Last Doorway Press. She also continues to publish horror comics through Scattered Comics.
ason Gehlert is a veteran horror author, published internationally through various mediums and multiple publishers. His work spreads over the genre in the forms of novels, short stories and flash fiction. His work for a Down syndrome non-profit organization helps provide awareness to the communities through fundraising, newsletters, social media, events, and 24/7 contact as the Program Coordinator. My only requirement for the authors became the simple task of all, write a story that has deep characters and emotion. A story evolves only so far as the characters propel it. I wanted the characters stripped down to their skeletons. Heroes, villains, somewhere in the middle? Bring them through the emotional grinder, chew them up, spit them out, where will it take the reader? Or, what about a few stories with different spins on such figures as Dracula, Adolph Hitler, the Devil, and Snow White. A few of these stories are dark in nature, or splashed with a form of comic ingenuity. Others are entrenched in history with a different spin that left me squirming in my seat.
