An illness befalls her, leaving her only the option to either accept her inevitable fate, or find a way to make the vampiric blood heal her, without turning into a vampire herself.

As everything goes wrong, Harlow is tasked with trying to save his daughter, even if salvation might cause him to resort to extreme measures.
