On the cross, He experienced pain and suffering not for His own sin, but for ours. Knowing Jesus as God, we see His compassion, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We understand God as a loving Father who desires a relationship with humanity and gave His most precious gift to restore this relationship that was broken in Eden.
