In fact, it wasn’t easy to believe that a little village in Lombardy could be home to three hills that had been artificially modelled into the shape of pyramids. The purpose of this book is however to demonstrate that not only do they really exist, but that they are a sort of a "stargate", a window opening onto the distant past which we know little or nothing about. A past that has emerged here, in a regional park in Lombardy, only because it remained intact and untouched by the uncontrolled urbanization which, on the other hand, changed the city of Milan and the surrounding areas. Why these pyramids were modelled here in the Montevecchia Park remains a mystery.
