Inhaltsangabe

The Catholic comics about Lent and Easter, which are included in this book were first published in Treasure Chest of Fun and Fact. Be advised: This reprint has been edited for clarity, but some blurred and low-quality images could not be restored fully. Treasure Chest was a Catholic comic magazine printed from 1946 to 1972. These golden age, public domain comics have eluded reprinting and are very hard to find. However, that does not mean they are not worth revisiting! Many wonderful stories about the Lenten Season are included In this collection of classic Catholic comics. The contents include:

• God’s Gift is Lent: a comic about the benefit and meaning of Lent.
• Where Do We Stand: a comic about the importance of charity at all ages.
• Indulgences: which explains the Catholic practice of giving and earning indulgences.
• A Legend for Easter: an interesting take on the tradition of coloring Easter Eggs.

Catholics of all ages should find something educational and entertaining in this collection.
