The fictional novel reminds us of the past and gives warnings about the future if society remains apathetic in not holding those in power responsible.

Schaefer stretches the boundaries of the reader’s imagination with an eloquent description of the New World and a tyrannical government that had once had every intention of creating a utopian society.
