Inhaltsangabe

Welcome to the Wobblebottom Farm series, a collection of funny rhymes that you can read-to or read-with your kids – or that they can read themselves as they grow. The books are all about the old farmer and his funny bunch of animal friends down on the farm, all brought to life through wonderfully colourful illustration. For more information see our website at www.wobblebottomfarm.co.uk

As for Doris? Well...

Doris is quick. She’s not just quick for a chicken, but she can outrun any animal on the farm – and even the farmer himself, though frankly that’s not so difficult, but now she faces her greatest challenge. He’s mean; he’s magnificent; he’s the Rooster with the Booster - Lionel Partington the Third !! Doris may be the fastest chicken in the farmyard; but does she have what it takes to be the fastest chicken in the west – or will she fall fowl of Lionel and his lightning feet? Let battle commence!

Doris has won a prize - in the Children’s/Young Adult Fiction category at the Writers Digest 90th Annual Writing Competition (2021) ! Great news. Well done Doris !
