What will it take us to realize that reducing urban air pollution must be treated as a short- (rather than a long) term goal? Will the European Union (now 27 years old) ever leave its parental home (ie, the veto power of its member states) and start a life of its own? Did the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic need to be so bad? These are just a few questions this book will try to answer. Hopefully, along the way, our thoughts will become a little longer.
