If the basic disciplines are not maintained by the team then it is very difficult for the Customer to believe in the Supplier quality of the product as well as respond to quality issues. 3.As per my own counseling tenure, I have seen that the search time of getting the required tools are very high due to poor 5’S in the plant.4. The poor 5’S takes a lot of valuable time from the operator/ working staff which leads to the low productivity of our employees. To be a competitive organization, search time of getting tools, documents or files should be less than 30 seconds.5. Good 5’S Leeds safe working environments of the plant which leads to a reduction in an accident in the plant.6. The employee morale is always better in the organization where 5’S is maintained as compared to the organizations where 5’S is not implemented.7. People feel better about their work area and take pride and ownership in the results.8. It becomes easy for an individual to work in a visual atmosphere by identifying what, where and how much they need any items or tools.
