The Sckwelch family, Dan, Penny, Sebastian, and Felicity, oh yes not forgetting Muncher their delightful pet Labradoodle, were on holiday at Bilbow’s Caravan Park in their caravan they call Bertha. It started to rain heavily and the park began to flood! The Sckwelch family are Christians, and during their times of prayer they often offer themselves to whatever purpose God decides for them. So there comes a time when God takes Dan up on his offer and sends Mr. Arius N Gel, the white suited Angel to see Dan, and to advise him that Bertha and the other caravans like her have some special hidden features, which enables them to sail and to fly, and which would be needed to save people from a great disaster. But Dan does not initially listen and therefore gets further visits from Father God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to get him shifted. Gordon and Christine, the Warden's on the site are recruited by God and together with Dan, an ordinary loving family man with a love of caravans, they take on the extraordinary in the second part of this fictional Christian adventure. Nine Bertha's set sail to avoid the destruction and are carried by a tsunami a great distance. They link together the nine Bertha's and the towed units, forming a floating island. Together they face danger, sadness, loss, hope, joy, wonder, and new found strength of faith. Weeks later, The Angel Arius arrives with a message from God, soon after they set off once again sailing and flying but finding nothing but water, and with supplies running low things are getting desperate! Dan is flying Bertha 1, eventually they find a drifting ship, a new aircraft carrier on which Dan lands Bertha 1, there appears to be no crew! Meeting Arius on the flight deck, and while everyone is enjoying a well earned refreshment break, he takes Dan away for a important meeting with God. There he will learn all he needs to know for the next part of his great adventure, and the scale of the disaster and why it came about. He would come to understand more about his relationship with God and what God needs to teach him to lead the survivors further.
