Inhaltsangabe

Meanwhile, in the Shadows gathers together eleven horror stories and nine crime stories, all drawn from Michael J Richards’s fertile, macabre, intelligent imagination.“Fifteen Scenes from a Vampire’s Life” shows the practical problems faced by any 21st-century vampire – which blood group is the tastiest, who are the best victims, how does a vampire actually find blood in the first place? In “The God’s Honest Truth”, the devil invades the everyday workplace. “Will” goes back to the Middle Ages when Satan was a real, physical being to be battled against night and day.“Building a Wall” goes through the steps an anxious DIY-enthusiast takes to kill his chocolate-gorging wife. In “Reading the Map Upside-down”, it’s murder between friends in the isolated Brecon Beacons. “Howdy Gill, Hello Wayne” travels down an horrific murderous highway. “Save Me” visits places in the human mind no person should ever have to visit. These and thirteen other stories of spine-tingling, shuddering, frightening landscapes are in Meanwhile, in the Shadows by Michael J Richards, his second collection of horror and crime stories.
