Inhaltsangabe

Pétur Ragnarsson is in charge of the Department of Huldufolk Representation, the government branch that represents Iceland’s mythical creatures in public works. Unfortunately, Pétur doesn't actually believe in Huldufolk! When an Elf enlists his help in keeping hundreds of Huldufolk homes from being crushed to build a highway, Pétur is thrust into the unexpected position of having to do his job. Along the way, Pétur encounters beasts and beings beyond his possible imagination and stands to lose the faith of his new friends, his legacy, and his mind.
