Inhaltsangabe

". . . one of the funniest things I have ever read in my life."--Donna Little, poet, essayist, scholar, Reinhardt University

Quiet, mild-mannered Harry Mature becomes a rebel when his wife dies.

Shattering his wife's taboos, he opens a bottle of scotch. And then a bottle of tequila. And then he buys a cigar.

Feeling liberated, Harry Mature realizes nothing can now stop him from embarking on a heroic quest. A journey to do all the things he never could during his 40 years of marriage—like bagging a deer or landing a trout—or even buying a motorcycle.

It won't be long before he gets a smart phone with a dating app.

In this hilarious look at life after retirement and a death, Arthur Wayne Glowka brings readers along on Harry's exploration of the adversities and opportunities afforded to a man who finds himself free and clear after four decades of being on a very short leash. It's a trip you won't want to miss.

They say we may not always get what we want, but we just may get what we need. Harry Mature does.
