Hi! I’m Annabelle. I’m an 11-year-old living in South Carolina with my parents, Bill and Julia; my sister, Ellie; and our dog, Kiwi. I love to write, read, and draw. I also enjoy playing volleyball, swimming, and looking for snakes.

I started this book in a very interesting way. I’ve always liked to write books in Google Docs for fun. When I finished this book about dragons, I was like, "Hey, I should show my parents." So that’s what I did. My mom said that my writing was so good that it could be published. So that’s exactly what I wanted to do. I added some of my art, made the cover, and designed the characters. More books in the Undiscovered but There series are coming!

I hope that this book inspires young writers like me to keep writing and not let their age stop them from doing the things they love.
