Often, the tough times help us appreciate the people and opportunities in our lives. Journal of a Curious Kid: Pandemic Life is a work of Covid fiction based on the events of 2020-2021. It offers teen and adult readers a rare combination of insightful wisdom and lighthearted humor during turbulent times.

Self-Help Journaling & The Covid-19 Pandemic

In early 2020 the whole world was thrust into the chaos of the global Coronavirus pandemic. Jo's teenage life was already complicated, and then Covid-19 came along. When the governor of Massachusetts ordered a stay-at-home lockdown, Jo and her family found themselves stuck inside like everyone else.

It's bad enough to be trapped inside your house as a teenager, but it's worse when you have a wild and crazy little sister. Jo's sister Alexa thinks everyone with Covid will turn into a Zombie. She hates wearing masks and thinks the virus is a hoax. Then Jo's Dad decides to set up an Amazon Alexa. Now Jo's stuck inside with two Alexas in the house. These are just some of Jo's challenges as she adjusts to her own new normal.

Jo used her journal to record what happened in the world and her life during the pandemic, including her fears, lessons, ups and downs, and funny moments.

Renew your spirit as you learn how Jo adjusts to difficult times through faith, gratitude, and the power of a positive attitude.

People Love the Journal of A Curious Kid books because they are fun and funny while still educational - for all ages.
