Inhaltsangabe

You Left Me In April is a collection of poems focusing on the journey of young and unrequited love – a fragile feeling that lies between two souls. Often, this kind of misunderstood feeling is one-sided, fleeing, and leaves a metaphorical wound. It’s a journey that leads one through mountains and big skies, stone-streets and beaches. It’s a pain that can last years, even when long ago healed over. You Left Me In April explores the highs of love, and the lows when it simmers, fades, and disappears without an explanation. The poems, here, explore yearning, grief, and the eventual hindsight that comes with age.

You Left Me In April is a debt collection of poetry from new author, Stephanie Donovan.
