"I Don't Want To Go To School Today" is a fun and lighthearted children's book about a little boy called Archie who (surprise surprise) doesn't want to go to school today. His mummy then proceeds to tell him what might happen if he doesn't to school which included the whole village flooding from tears from his classmates, and a few other surprises along the way!
This book was written by Nix Henderson back in 2011 when her 8 year old son Archie kept telling her "I don’t want to go to school today". Nix sadly passed away the following year in May 2012. Nix left behind her children Charlotte (now 24), Emma (now 22), Archie (now 19), and her husband and father to her children, Andy. Nix's youngest daughter Emma, found this story saved on her laptop years later and has decided to publish it to celebrate and remember her mum, 10 years on from her death and as a gift to Archie for his 18th birthday.
