Michael McLeod, JD, MPH is an assistant professor in the School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences, at Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan. In addition to teaching Social Justice in Public Health, he facilitates the practice-based learning and community engagement of Master of Public Health students. He also presents invited presentations and facilitates skill-building workshops on teaching and public health practice. He holds a JD from the University of Michigan and an MPH from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He earned his undergraduate degree in government at William & Mary.
