They find a lovely broad valley in which to dwell and set up new homes and a new town. They are alone in the vastness and must help each other and work together to survive. There are savage beasts and even more savage men to deal with. They live, find love, and thrive on the new world. This action filled story moves quickly, spanning a number of years. Ben and Jim, as with he others, overcome obstacles, terrors, and trouble, and find within themselves a strength they never knew they possessed. Ben and Jim find themselves growing to fit the broad land, becoming more than they ever thought they could ever be.
