This theory is backed by Queen Vita who informs Emi that her father was a traveller to their world and has been for quite a while. The queen sets Emi off on a journey to find her father which, over the course of "Emi", "Emi: Foreign Lands", "13", and "Emi: Mortality", will see her pair up with several allies and make her way across the world fighting monsters, acquiring powerful new spells and abilities, and finding out secrets about her family that she never would have dreamed of.
