By 29 he was the Chief Accountant of a small, but ambitious Finance Company., part of a major banking group. Later he became an internal consultant and found that grass-roots workers generally held the solution to most problems rather than management. He was fortunate that he had the authority to make any changes needed.

He feels that the solutions to many of Britain´s problems can be found the same way, that is by listening to those who face the problems on a daily basis.

Despairing that political dogma has replaced common sense, he took to his typewriter to create this collection of “where we could do better” vignettes. Sometimes funny, often irreverent, you’ll find his ideas thought-provoking and entertaining.
