Peter is a Puzzle Piece unhappy with himself because he feels ugly and unimportant in the midst of his colorful and perfect 999 brothers and sisters. He escapes the box when the lid is opened and feels happy. But after a while he fears he will never be found. But when the kind, gentle man discovers he is missing and finds him under the table, Peter plays a game of chase with his owner. After getting tired of his game, he stops to rest and allows himself to be rescued. When he looks around him this time, he realizes he looks just fine among his siblings and is happy to be back home!
I live in the small town of Lititz, PA. I have two grown children and one grandchild. I love doing jigsaw puzzles and have a shelf full of them in my closet! The inspiration for this story comes from the parable of the lost sheep in the Bible.
