Lee is fascinated with themes of queerness, disability, transformation, trauma and community, and strives for sincerity and nuance in all their work. A lifelong visual artist, Lee began writing in their late 20s to pursue the specificity of prose, and has pulled on their extensive experiences in spaces of queerness and disability to craft stories about the real or fantastical ways human beings change.Lee is nonbinary and uses any pronouns.
