Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Keri K. Stephens is the George Christian Centennial Professor in Organizational Communication Technology and Co-Director of the Technology and Information Policy Institute at the Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin, USA. Her research on disaster communication, organizing, infrastructure systems, and technology has produced 140+ peer-reviewed publications, and she has secured $10 million in external funding as a PI or CoPI. She is an International Communication Association Fellow, a TEDx presenter, and an award-winning community-engaged scholar.

Kerk F. Kee is the Virginia & Choc Hutcheson Professor in Mass Communication at Texas Tech University, USA. He studies the adoption of AI, digital infrastructures, and emerging technologies in organizations and society. He has secured over $13 million in external funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. In 2015, he received an NSF CAREER Award.
