Inhaltsangabe

A young boy and his dog are lounging in the backyard on a lazy summer's day. A boxing match between two raccoons quickly evolves into a full-blown menagerie of creatures who seem intent on eating the boy. In desperation, our frightened young man attempts to strike a deal with God in order to escape the clutches of his would-be diners. Suddenly, something else quite unexpectedly intervenes to save the day. Set in poetic rhyme and beautifully illustrated, 'A Visit from the Zoo' is sure to keep young readers on the edge of their seats right up to its abrupt, happy conclusion.
