Soon came a storm of corruption investigations and Fumo was engulfed. Stack maneuvered through the minefield and defied the odds to win statewide office but found a new crisis. Through the treachery and challenges, he emerged triumphantly on a personal spiritual level beyond the measures of mere political office which would never have been possible had he not been trained in the combat zone of the city he loves. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Mike Stack received his JD from Villanova Law School in 1992 and has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar for decades. He was elected to the Pennsylvania Senate in 2000 after three losses. Stack enlisted in the US Army in 2007, competing against people decades younger, and served as an officer and Judge Advocate General until 2015. He was the first Philadelphian to be elected lieutenant governor, and served until 2019. He is the global CEO of Telenet Doctor. As a member of the Screen Actors Guild, he's appeared in dozens of films and is a featured stand-up comedian at the Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, California, and the Comedy Chateau in Hollywood, among other venues.
