Or, they could even read my stories to their grandchildren to get the conversation started. This is the first of a four-book series that progresses through grade school, junior high and high school. Don has previously published two books: one a family memoir about his wife's battle with brain cancer, called Star Benchwarmers and a historical fiction novel of his hometown and its early settlers, titled Teachings From Pop.
