J. Allan Gates is a licensed therapist, graduate school professor, and nationally known speaker on the topics of mental health and recovery. He has managed mental health inpatient units, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics. His outpatient practice focuses on walking with individuals through their journey of recovery. Currently, he operates as a clinical consultant to individuals, groups, churches, ministries, and healthcare organizations.
