ARE THERE PIECES OF YOU YET TO BE DISCOVERED AS STRENGTH WHEN HANDED OVER?
Our walk in life is a divinely intimate one, not lived alone. Now, Becoming Okay is the overarching testimonial of how Rachel was moved from suicidal ideation to a faith-filled life of following Jesus. Illuminating background stories covering depression, PTSD, and culture winning will take you on a personal journey toward the difference of living in the light.
Meant to be read slowly, with topics revisited, this illustration is compiled from time spent in Scripture and biblical meditation. Poetry and past journal entries sow life into devotionals, and yet they do not depart from Holy Spirit-inspired musings. You can be assured that the Creator Himself meets us in the depths of yesterday, is with us in the valleys of today, and strengthens us for the mountaintops of tomorrow. As you begin to witness these promises, you can expect to:
- Learn the life-changing practice of gratitude and reflection.
- Challenge beliefs that are mindlessly leading your decisions.
- Discover how quiet and the wilderness will actually lead you to a life of beauty.
In her first book, Rachel guides you through tender spots in her life that once felt unsafe to share-but with a big God, the landscape of what can be trusted changes. Our experiences build our lives, whether we want to face them or not. There is peace on the other side of surrender. Proof is in the living.

Rachel is an artist and encourager who has become familiar with the pivot. Decades before this copy came to be, she had it implanted within her that she would one day write a book. In one short year, after moving to Tampa, Florida, God opened space in her life to live like she believed in what He was doing. Many "nevers" turned into "nows," and she has the honor of guiding the next generation toward a life spent following Jesus. Rachel and her husband, Chip, are currently enjoying the privilege of growing their family and building a life of ministry dedicated to God's calling over the household.
