Inhaltsangabe

Everything you've learned about leadership works better when you understand the foundation it's built on-a foundation that hasn't been part of the conversation. That foundation is this: leadership happens at three interconnected layers. There's the transaction, the visible work of strategy, decisions, and execution. There's the psychology underneath, how people respond to pressure and navigate relationships. And there's the awareness to see how those two layers affect each other in real time. When you learn to work with all three layers, everything changes. Layer 1 has gotten plenty of attention. Layer 2 and Layer 3 haven't. But Layer 2 is what determines whether your strategies work, your decisions get executed, and your teams can collaborate. And Layer 3 is what allows you to see those dynamics in real time and do something about them. This book shows you how people actually work: how we position ourselves in relationships, what we believe we can control, whether we stay regulated under pressure, and why the same situation can look completely different to two people standing in the same room. This book teaches you how to work with all three layers at once. The difference shows up immediately. Teams collaborate better under pressure. Feedback lands. Conflict becomes productive instead of destructive. Dysfunction gets addressed before it becomes toxic. The psychology isn't complicated. The frameworks are simple, and when you use them, they change how you see everything and what becomes possible as you lead.
