Her compassion and understanding are far-reaching as she has traveled as far as Vietnam and Nepal to perform surgery for children. She is nationally recognized. Dr. Matthew Dobbs is internationally recognized for his expertise and innovation in the field of pediatric foot and lower extremity deformities. My Boots along with its sequel entitled My Big Boots are dedicated to the children worldwide born with clubfoot. These books have been published to provide information from a child's point of view while also providing accurate information for families who are caring for children with clubfoot. We find these books to be helpful in speaking with children. These books are also helpful in aiding in any conversation with siblings and friends of children with clubfoot. We give special thanks to the patients and their families who inspire us. Some of the proceeds from these books are dedicated to children with clubfoot in need of care.

Mitzi Williams DPM, FACFAS is a pediatric foot and lower extremity surgeon who specializes in congenital deformities. Dr. Williams and her colleague, Dr. Scott Kaiser, direct the Pediatric and Infant Foot Deformity Clinic at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California.She is an attending surgeon at the SF Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program. Dr. Williams is internationally recognized for her expertise in treating pediatric foot and lower extremity deformities.
