After the sun sets, the woods where Beth used to find peace turn sinister with talks of death cultists, witches, and cosmic horrors not native to this planet. Truths worm their way to the surface, lifting the veil covering Beth's life until she's stuck deciding what to believe or who to trust in an unfamiliar part of the forest. And, just when Beth thinks her weekend couldn't get worse, she learns her role in this messed up hike.

K.P. Roberson is a Georgia native living in the southern Appalachian Mountains with her very handsome and nerdy spouse, their two teenage spawns, and a very rotund cat who answers to 'Kitty.' She loves science fiction, fantasy, thriller, romance, and horror stories, especially if they are character driven. Her writings align with her tastes, but she also composes Stardew Valley fanfiction on Archive of Our Own.
