Born and raised in the mountainous region of southwestern Virginia, L.A. Halket overcame much hardship in her childhood and young adult life through the love of books. She considers her faith, family, and friends to be the most important things in her life. Happy Tickles Toes is L.A. Halket's first published children's book.
