Vladimir Melnikov Vladimir Zakharovich Melnikov was born in Moscow, on May 21, 1932. Chemical engineer. 1950, August. - Creation of the League of Struggle for the Cause of Socialist Revolution (Soyuz borby za Delo Revolutsii - SDR), which aimed to overthrow the existing Stalinist system. The SDR included high school students and college freshmen. Of the 16 people, who were convicted during the SDR court process, had their parents imprisoned in GULAG: Ulanovskaya had a father and mother, Rabinovich had a father and mother, Arginskaya had a father, Elgisser had a father, Voin had a father, Panfilova had a stepfather.
