Inhaltsangabe

A dead immortal. A desperate manhunt. A family caught in the crossfire.

In a world of magic and flintlock guns, immortals rule through fear—until one is killed, gunfire erupts, and a ruthless hunt drags a family of smugglers into war.

The shocking death of an immortal ignites a ruthless manhunt led by a master of shadows. When Jon Therman, a former slave turned smuggler, and his family are caught in its path, survival becomes war. Jon wants nothing more than to protect his children and live unnoticed, but when an immortal sets his sights on Jon’s family, retaliation is the only option.

Amid gunfire and political intrigue, Jon’s daughter Ella risks everything to rescue her friend from a ritual sacrifice, defying the commands of her fellow smugglers. At the same time, jaded spy Shane zem’Arta searches for his missing commander. These orders entangle him in Ella’s mission and force them both to make dangerous choices.

Smugglers, rogues, and rival lords stumble into open conflict against a powerful cult of immortals. With gunpowder weapons, magic, and fragile alliances colliding, these factions must set aside their mistrust to survive a brewing war—or be destroyed by it.

WHEN AN IMMORTAL DIES, NO ONE MOURNS, BUT PEOPLE NOTICE.

Remnant is the first installment of The Palimar Saga, a dark epic flintlock and gunpowder fantasy series featuring gunpowder warfare, political intrigue, and large-scale battles alongside magic, trolls, and shapeshifters. Perfect for readers who enjoy action-driven epic fantasy with rich worldbuilding and morally complex characters.
