Lee Havis is director of the International Montessori Society (IMS), a non-profit organization he founded in the United States in 1979 to advance and support his innovative discoveries and research in the field of scientific education. Prior to 1979, he conducted and supervised Montessori teacher education and taught students of all ages, from preschool to college. He also created and conducted an in-home tutoring program, Trust Tutoring, which utilizes unique evaluation testing he created as an integral aspect of this program.In his work with IMS, he has created and conducted many types of training programs on the subject of scientific teaching, especially using unique technology he developed in the field. Among these, are included webinars, self-directed home study, distance learning courses, and over 150 workshops on the subject all over the world.
