Jamie Orr is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where he also taught dance for many years. He continues to teach in the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire, while finding time to write and pursue his favorite hobby, woodworking. Jamie often visits family in southwestern Vermont, the setting of this book. He lives in Enfield, NH with his wife.
