Fast forward twenty years: John has buried his past deep within, living a successful yet unfulfilling life. When he meets Claire, a passionate and volatile older woman, she reignites John's desire for true connection. Both scarred by their pasts, they struggle to maintain intimacy. Faced with new losses, John and Claire must choose: embrace love and life’s mystery or succumb to trauma and rage.
