Sheri Byers is a first-time children's book author. She was born in Cleveland Ohio and started her professional career in Los Angeles as an accountant in the entertainment industry. She attended Santa Monica College where she studied business administration and dance. Her lifelong passions for dance and music were a driving force in both her personal and professional life. Sheri's interest in writing began as a teenager. Her hobby in songwriting eventually turned into a successful venture, earning her a BMI Songwriters Award. Her love for children's stories started when she and her daughter would spend cherished moments together at libraries, checking out dozens of children's books. Sheri's inaugural publication marks the beginning of a series that promises to be an ongoing adventure. When she's not writing, she enjoys traveling, family outings, taking walks, or watching a sci-fi movie with popcorn.
