Wherever your student is on their transfer journey, College Ready is here for you!
There are many reasons students transfer to a new college. They may have started at a community college with a well-considered plan to get some credits under their belt before moving to a four-year institution, or perhaps they wanted to explore a variety of general education courses for a semester or two to help them narrow in on a major. Or they may have started at their dream college just to realize the dream couldn't be fulfilled there, because career goals or a financial situation changed, or it didn't feel like the right place for them.
Whatever the reason for transferring, it will take some effort on your student's part. Finding a new institution that is a better fit, completing the necessary paperwork and applications, and learning the new systems of a new school can be daunting. This book is written by professionals who have worked closely with transfer students at their universities and throughout their careers. The content will help you support your student as they make this transition, find their place at their new university, and work their way towards graduation.
